The Pyramid Clock was designed to tell the time in a unique and elegant way. To that end the clock expresses time in the language of classical computation, binary.

Binary

The pyramid shape is not arbitrary. It represents the order of traditional time units. AM/PM at the top, hours next level down, and minutes at the bottom. Each time segment is presented in binary form. For a tutorial on how to read the clock, go to the Time section.

Connected

The clock automatically keeps time via Wi-Fi. Setup takes less than a minute (see here), and you can customize the display using your phone or computer web browser. You can store up to three display profiles and quickly switch between them. The Pyramid Clock software is open source, so if you want to extend its features, you can.
